Orthoptist position • Full time • CBD Macquarie Street
and St Vincent’s Clinic Darlinghurst location (close to
public transport) • Leading ophthalmology practice, with a
focus on refractive, cataract and cornea speciality • Start
date: Flexible, preferably as soon as possible Are you
a passionate orthoptist looking to make a real difference in
a small team, patient-focused environment? Our bespoke clinic
is growing, and we’re seeking a dedicated full-time orthoptist
to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity
to provide personalised care in a supportive, fast paced
setting, working closely with patients, colleagues and 9
leading surgeons. Why you’ll love working at Envision Eye

be part of a close team with a fantastic opportunity to learn
and assist in refractive/lasers setting as we run our own
laser suite with the newest PRESBYOND, VISUMAX 800 + SCHWIND
AMARIS 750S. • You will get to work with a range of condition-
s such as cataracts, cornea, refractive, glaucoma, medical
retina, dry eye, and occasional paediatrics. • You'll
also play a key role in gathering valuable research data for
a variety of exciting clinical studies. • Professional developm-

full-time four-day work week, with one rostered day off. Our
Ideal Candidate will be: • Eager to develop new skills,
and has a strong interest in the ophthalmic side of this profess-
ion, including assisting in the laser suite and gaining
hands on experience. • Adaptable and a team player - A flexible

always willing to support colleagues and adapt to clinic
changing needs. • Efficient and confident - Able to work independ-
ently and autonomously in a fast paced setting while maintai-
ning a high level of accuracy and efficiency, and also
excel as part of a cohesive team. • Tech savvy and administrativ-
e support - Proficient with computers and able to assist
with administrative tasks when needed, to ensure smooth operati-
ons. • Travel flexibility - Willing and able to travel
between our Macquarie St City and Darlinghurst locations as
required. • Detail oriented and reliable - Committed to deliver-
ing high quality work with attention to detail, be punctual
and dependable in meeting responsibilities and deadlines. -
The successful applicant will be able to perform the
following (training provided): • Patient history/VA • I-care
tonometry • OCT/OPTOS • Humphrey Visual Field • A-scan • Pe-
ntacam/Specular Microscopy/Corvis • Verion/Callisto • Subj-
ective refraction/refractive consults • Collagen Cross-Link-
ing • Assist in minor surgical procedures and intra-vitreal
injections Experienced and new graduates are highly
