		Job Title: Orthoptist - Tuggerah, NSW Job Type: Part Time Location: Tuggerah, NSW Date Advertised: 15/02/2024 Description: Vision Eye Institute is Australia’s largest private provider of ophthalmic services. Our clinical team is led by internationally recognised specialists in laser eye surgery, refractive lens exchange, laser cataract surgery, corneal conditions, retinal conditions and glaucoma. We're looking for a passionate Orthoptist to join our team, in a part time capacity view of extending further as the clinic grows. Optical dispensers welcome to apply. Key responsibilities include: • Ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment • Clinical assessment and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT and angiography • Biometry and Corneal Topography • Patient counselling • Primary assessment and triage of referrals • Work with up to date technology and instruments • Ongoing professional development will be provided About you: • Excellent clinical skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail • Scientific background preferred • Orthoptic/Optical qualification and current Australian Orthoptic Board registration • Experience in a similar role Why work for VEI?
