		Job Title: Orthoptist (Maternity relief) - St Leonards, NSW Job Type: Part Time Location: St Leonards (Lower North Shore), NSW Date Advertised: 20/03/2024 Description: Orthoptist Job Type: Maternity Relief (approx. 8 months) – part time/casual: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Part-time/Casual (Maternity Relief - commencing May 2024) North Shore Eye Centre is a large, privately owned and operated, specialist Ophthalmology practice. Our great professional team consists of ten Ophthalmologists associates, orthoptists, and admin support staff. Centrally located in St Leonards close to great public transport. We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, friendly, and efficient Orthoptist to cover this maternity relief position. There may be potential for part time hours for the right person following in 2025. Our group of Ophthalmologists have a broad range of specialties. Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and duties include – - Clinical workup - OCT scanning - Retinal photography - Humphrey visual field testing - Tonometry - IOL Master - Autorefraction - Pentacam - Fundus Camera Excellent communication skills, organisational and planning, and an understanding of a client centered approach. Experience would be beneficial, but training and support will be provided. New graduates are very welcome to apply.
