The Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists and Support Staff at Australian Eye Specialists are committed to delivering personalised, high-quality and safe eye care through standards of best practice. Our Ophthalmologist specialties include paediatrics, cataract, glaucoma, medical retina and refractive surgery. We are seeking a full-time orthoptist (4 days negotiable) to join our growing practice to support our Ophthalmologists. Duties include: • General consultation assessments • Perform clinical and diagnostic testing (Heidelberg OCT/ Angiography, Lenstar, IOL master, Pentacam and Humphrey Field Analyser) • Assisting in intravitreal injections, minor procedures and in-room cross-linking • Preparing cataract theatre lists • Clinical audits Requirements: • Tertiary qualification in Orthoptics or equivalent • AOB Registration • Must be able to work at both locations- Wyndham and Bacchus Marsh • Experience in clinic (preferred not required) Full training and ongoing support and education will be provided and remuneration will be based on experience and the Health Professionals and Support Services Award Contact Details: For further information regarding this position or to apply please contact marian@australianeyespecialists.com Applications may also be submitted via the APPLY NOW eForm.
