		Job Title: Orthoptist - Concord, NSW Job Type: Part Time Location: Concord, NSW Date Advertised: 6/06/2024 Description: Concord Eye Specialists is seeking a part-time Orthoptist to join our modern multi-subspecialty adult Ophthalmology practice. Established in 2018, we are located on Majors Bay Road in the heart of Concord. Our team includes 8 Ophthalmologists with expertise across Medical Retina, Surgical Retina, Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma, Uveitis, Cornea and Oculoplastics. The role includes but is not limited to: • Patient screening including history taking and performing orthoptic assessments (visual acuity, IOP measurement, refraction, cover testing, colour vision testing etc.) • Performing various diagnostic tests/imaging including Cirrus OCT, fundus photography and angiography, IOL master 700 biometry, immersion ultrasonography, Pentacam topography, and Humphrey visual fields • Assisting doctors with minor procedures: o Intravitreal injections o Oculoplastics • Assisting with administrative duties • Surgical bookings We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional team-player who is proactive and keen to learn.
