About the business and role
PresMed specialises in the investment, commissioning and management of day hospital facilities in partnership with surgeons, and has established major facilities in Chatswood, Epping, Central Coast, Hornsby, Blacktown, Canberra and Tasmania, with more than 150 accredited surgeons associated with the group.
MetWest Eye Centre, located in Blacktown, is looking for a Casual Orthoptist to join our team of 8 consulting ophthalmologists, and co-located Day Surgery.
Each day at MetWest Eye Centre is different – with subspecialty clinics including glaucoma, retina, cornea and oculo-plastics as well as the opportunity to work in the day surgery.
MetWest Eye Centre is a purpose-built ophthalmic centre of excellence, specialising in eye surgery. Our facility provides customised, state of the art ophthalmic facilities and instrumentation complimented by a team of well-trained clinical and administrative staff who share the vision of an ophthalmic surgical centre of excellence.
Duties include patient screening and education, OCT and digital imaging, assisting with minor procedures and preparation of theatre lists.
Experience is preferred, but not essential.
