		Job Title: Orthoptist - Norwest, NSW Job Type: Part Time Location: Norwest, NSW Date Advertised: 3/04/2025 Description: Norwest Eye Clinic is looking for a part time Orthoptist to join our growing and supportive team of administration and clinical staff. Ideally you will be available to work 1-2 days per week (Monday and alternate Wednesdays) with the possibility in the future for additional days. The role is diverse working with a range of Ophthalmology subspecialties in Medical and Surgical Retina, Glaucoma, Cornea, Oculoplastics and Paediatric. Your role is to ensure that the patients have had the appropriate testing prior to seeing the Ophthalmologist to allow for accurate diagnosis and subsequent management. Duties: • General orthoptic screening and ophthalmic review for patients of all ages; • Specialised testing (HVF, Cirrus OCT, IOL master, Pentacam, OPTOS, iCare tonometry, B-scan and Visucam fundus photography); • Refraction, cover testing and ocular movement testing; • Set up and assist in minor operations; • Inventory restocking on a daily basis. Skills/Qualifications: • Bachelor of Orthoptics or Master of Orthoptics (or equivalent); • Working with Children Check Clearance.
