		Job Title: Ophthalmic Technician/Orthoptist - Gold Coast, QLD Job Type: Full Time Location: Gold Coast, QLD, Australia Date Advertised: 2/06/2010 Description: We are currently looking to recruit Orthoptists and/or Ophthalmic Technicians to join our busy Ophthalmology practices located on the beautiful Gold Coast. Your primary objective will be to assist Ophthalmic Surgeons in busy General Ophthalmology and Laser Refractive Surgery centres. Duties include but are not limited to: *Perform refractions, A-Scans, OCT's, topography, tonography *Take FFA photographs as required *Assist with intra vitreal injections and photodynamic treatments *Clinical and orthoptic assessments *Assist with ordering medical supplies and sterilising of equipment as required. Previous experience within an Ophthalmology practice an advantage and/or a proven record working successfully in a team environment. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Orthoptic & Ophthalmic Science Degree or a Bachelor of Science/Health Science Degree. We have a mixture of Full Time and Part Time positions available.
