A part-time, twelve month, maternity position now exists for a committed and motivated orthoptist to join our Vision Group team. The role will commence in early August, four days a week and may increase to five days a week to suit the needs of the business. Duties may include: - Subjective and Auto-refractions - Biometry - HRT - Perimetry - Pachymetry - OCT - Digital Fluorescein Angiography and Fundus photography - some paediatric examinations The position is based at Vision Eye Institute Footscray, however there is also the opportunity to consult at our Vision Laser clinic, so applicants with previous refractive experience would be looked upon favorably. A driver’s licence and car are essential. The successful applicant will have the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with the entire clinical team and have a desire to provide outstanding service to both patients and doctors.
